Qualifications

Applicants must either hold an M.D. or equivalent degree and we prefer that M.D. applicants have completed their medical residency program or have a Ph.D. in a field related to medicine or technology. Applicants must have significant training or experience with computers. Due to limitations imposed by our NLM funded training programs, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applications from women and minorities are encouraged.

Salary and Benefits

Starting salaries are competitive with other similar fellowship programs. Benefits include health insurance, tuition support and course fees. All fellows have office space, computer equipment and software, and statistical and other methodologic consultations. Intramural funds are available to support fellow's research projects, travel to meetings, and training-related costs.
