Pharmacogenomics is a field of study which examines how genes affect a person’s response to medications. This is a five-year research study in collaboration between Indiana University Pharmacogenomics, Eskenazi Health, and Regenstrief Institute to provide genomics information on a variety of commonly prescribed drugs to determine how genomics data provided to the clinician can change the care provided to the patient as well as the economics of the prescription drugs used by using clinical decision support rules and genomic lab results in both general and specific alerts through their electronic medical record (EMR).

The project has a start date of 08/2014 and an end date of 08/2018.
