Regenstrief Data Services is a central point of access for data from the Indiana Network for Patient Care (INPC) and other specialized sources. Data analysts and systems engineers assist investigators with a mission to transform data into knowledge to improve patient care. RDS provides an array of services while ensuring the safe keeping and handling of protected health information (PHI).
Initiated in 1994 by Regenstrief investigator Clem McDonald, LOINC is the freely available international standard for identifying health measurements, observations, and documents. It is used by thousands of organizations and individuals in nearly every country to enable efficient transmission, understanding, and use of health data.
Regenstrief Institute is proud to host The Problem, a podcast that examines how professionals of all stripes are doing their part to confront society’s biggest issues. Each season is focused on a different big problem, with episodes on the interdisciplinary approaches to tackling that problem.
