Regenstrief health information expert to speak at 2025 international digital health conference in Switzerland

A Regenstrief Institute expert in health information technology integration and process design join international presenters at the upcoming Geneva Digital Health Day (GDHD) on May 22, 2025, in Geneva, Switzerland.

Jennifer Shivers, MFA, B.S., a strategic technical advisor on Regenstrief Institute’s Global Health Informatics team, will participate in a panel discussing the project, Collaborating for Impact: Strategic Alliance for ICT Competency in Health (STICH)

GDHD, organized by the Geneva Digital Health Hub in partnership with the Geneva Health Forum and the World Health Organization, is a key platform for healthcare professionals, innovators, policy makers and academics to share insights, experiences and solutions in the field of digital health.

GDHD 2025 will gather healthcare leaders, policy makers and tech experts to exchange ideas and present innovations in digital health. This event is held alongside the 78th World Health Assembly.

With more than 25 years of experience in global health information systems, Shivers brings a deep commitment to people-centered, collaborative approaches in health data design and use. At Regenstrief, she mentors and advises on health strategies in emerging economies, while leading architectural design and community collaboration efforts.

Regenstrief Institute Global Health Informatics Program
The Global Health Informatics (GHI) program at Regenstrief Institute collaborates with colleagues around the world, supporting the development and implementation of an increasingly well-defined set of principles, approaches and open technologies designed for use in resource-constrained settings.

This program is often asked to spearhead new health informatics communities of practice that support the GHI mission and vision. These communities foster innovation, strengthen local capacity and provide frameworks and ecosystems that empower emerging economies to develop and support themselves. The GHI program has a fundamental role to play in creating, leading and participating in these communities of practice.
