Attachment A - New Regenstrief Institute Investigators & Affiliates
(Final 5.10.2022)
Regenstrief Institute (Institute), is a community of scholars, who contribute to a world where better information empowers people to end disease and realize true health. The Institute seeks to create an innovative, collaborative, and supportive environment for scholars to pursue their funded research. It is through research, education, and outreach that this community fulfills the mission of our founders, Sam and Myrtie Regenstrief.
The Institute is the home of three research centers, which bring together a talented cadre of scientists and research staff – The IU Center for Aging Research, The Clem McDonald Center for Biomedical Informatics, and The William M. Tierney Center for Health Services Research. In addition to these centers, the Institute is also home to LOINC® and Health Data Standards, Regenstrief Data Services, and an Administrative team, who support the organization’s operations.
The Institute recognizes two categories of research scholars, Investigator and Affiliate, who have a research home in a Center and are encouraged to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization.
