Brian Dixon, PhD, MPA, was interviewed by the IndyStar to discuss an increase of COVID-19 cases in Indiana in 2024. Dr. Dixon explained how the wide use of vaccines and previous infections have built more immunity among Americans, so the virus isn’t as deadly as it was in 2020 and 2021.
