I would like to nominate Morgan Smith for her attention to detail and contributions to the creation of training materials. Background: The GHI team is working with GIZ as a funder for the first time. One of our work package items is to create online training materials to assist those supporting health systems in resource-constrained environments in building technical skills. As a part of this work, materials are being created to deploy in a self-paced via an online system called Atingi setting as well as an instructor-led setting. Morgan’s contribution: Morgan took the initiative and led the team in ensuring that the self-paced materials created from instruction-based materials were appropriately divided into smaller chunks that were usable and accessible via cell phone as well as ensuring considerations for resource-constrained environments with low bandwidth. Morgan tested the materials with both cell and computer. Morgan also ensured that materials were accessible by ensuring that images were accessible to visually impaired persons and that all quality checks were completed. Morgan’s contributions assisted with ensuring that the GHI team met the project deliverables, and were delivered in a way that considered different types of users in resource-constrained environments.
