Jan 27-30 | OpenMRS Implementers Conference
Maputo, Mozambique
Organized by OpenMRS, Inc. Maputo 2015 is a way to bring health care professionals and OpenMRS implementers together to collaborate, share implementation experiences, and discover new ways to improve OpenMRS. For Maputo 2015, we are excited to collaborate closely together with the DHIS and OpenHIE communities to focus on building quality systems and delivering useful data. #MOZ15

Jan 26-30 | IHE NA Connectathon
Cleveland, OH
An IHE Connectathon is a cross-vendor, live, supervised, and structured testing event with over 100 participating vendors and 600+ engineers and IT architects. All these organizations and IT experts converge on-site in Cleveland, OH, for one full week of interoperability testing and problem resolution. Participants test their products against multiple vendors using real-world clinical scenarios contained in IHE’s Integration Profiles.

Jun 25-26 | OpenHIE Architecture Meeting
Arlington, VA
This will be an OpenHIE face-to-face hosted event to discuss topics around the architecture of OpenHIE.

April 12-16 | HIMSS Interoperability Showcase
Chicago, IL

Open Source Bridge is an annual conference focused on building open source community and citizenship through four days of technical talks, hacking sessions, and collaboration opportunities. Participants include developers, hardware hackers, community organizers, and people involved in the business of open source.
Notes: Small & cheaper OSCON. Call for talk proposals is open through March 7th.

December? | OpenMRS Summit

Starting in 2015, OpenMRS Inc. will host an annual global gathering of community members called OpenMRS Summit, focused on building and growing the OpenMRS community. This event will occur around the same time each year, and will aim to be held in a consistent, cost-effective location each year that offers easy immigration and travel access. While Implementers Meetings are designed to bring together OpenMRS implementers with health care professionals to focus on how OpenMRS is used, the annual Summit will bring together OpenMRS contributors & customers of all types, and will offer them opportunities to share their work, as well as discuss how software will evolve in the coming year. The first OpenMRS Summit will happen in the second half of 2015.

NA | OpenMRS Camp: Leadership Retreat
A small gathering of project leaders and strategic partners. These Barcamp-style events will bring together people who lead certain aspects of the project together to discuss ways to organize and coordinate work. Attendance to these smaller events will be by invitation/application people in roles of leadership.
