Josh has been an invaluable contributor to the G3 and teaching EMR (tEMR) projects in the past, but since transitioning to the ETL team, he has truly excelled as both a leader and an engineer. He embraced the formidable challenge of creating an INPC OMOP registry capable of being incrementally updated daily with INPC data—a feat that only a select few organizations have even attempted, but none have achieved the scale or level of success that Josh has delivered. While he was able to repurpose some code from the ETL team’s previous efforts on other OMOP registries, Josh built the majority of the incremental ETL processes from the ground up. His meticulous approach and unwavering focus have resulted in an INPC OMOP registry that transforms INPC data with precision into the OMOP common data model, empowering researchers to address their questions with accuracy and efficiency.
