Dr. Dev is a board certified emergency medicine and internal medicine physician. She is interested in study optimization of transitions of care to and from the emergency department. Her goal is to increase the understanding that the emergency department can be a valuable arena of care, not just a stopping ground on the way to inpatient or outpatient care.
Dr. Dev received her M.D., MPH, and her undergraduate degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed a combined emergency medicine and internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital. She also completed a Veteran Affairs Health Services Research and Development Fellowship through the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System. Before coming to Regenstrief, she was a clinical lecturer at the University of Michigan and a staff physician both in the departments of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
