Tracking the burden, distribution, and impact of post COVID-19 conditions in diverse populations for children, adolescents, and adults

Dates: 09/2022-09/2027

In collaboration with the CDC, Indiana and Regenstrief Institute are studying the incidence and prevalence of long COVID or Post-COVID-19 Conditions (PCC). We will recruit Hoosiers ages 7+ who have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and follow them for a total of 18-months by use of surveys about their symptoms and symptom progression. Through this study we hope to better understand what populations are most at risk to develop PCC, what the most common symptoms are of PCC, and how we can better understand PCC for the future.

Study Recruitment

Any person aged 7+ that has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 3 months. This positive test can be a confirmed lab test, doctor diagnosis, or positive home test.
