I nominate Chris Beesley for the 2021 One Regenstrief Award because this year he worked with a team of two very skilled engineers and guided them in developing an amazing application for the Linkage Honest Broker project. Chris architected and successfully implemented a solution to receive encrypted tokens from sites participating in the N3C program and orchestrated matching those tokens. The framework he created is adaptable for programs other than N3C as well. His work was instrumental in Regenstrief being awarded an extension and additional funding. This project would not be successful without Chris’s exceptional team work, collaboration with external entities and excellent customer support.
