Dr. Torke is interested in the ethical and communication aspects of medical decision making. Dr. Torke has designed and evaluated curricula regarding end-of-life care and clinical ethics for medical students, residents and fellows.

“As the population ages, family members of older adults should prepare for the crucial role they may play when their loved ones are hospitalized.”
